Have you seen our special offers?
Our location is situated in the perfect location for anyone who loves being outdoors. Surrounded by natural beauty in Herefordshire on the River Wye, our location provides plenty of opportunities for visitors to explore the park, or venture out for the day to neighbouring towns, villages and attractions. When you stay at Lucksall, your holiday is yours to make – who knows what you might find or where you may explore during your stay?
The park is home to a wide range of wildlife and birds which you can see throughout the season. We do our bit to help preserve the wildlife in our local area so when you visit us, you’ll notice there are birdfeeders located around the park. The park is home to lots of ducks and if you’re lucky, you may spot some ducklings! You’ll also have the opportunity to see rabbits, foxes, red kites and buzzards – and potentially even some deer who come down from the woods.
If you’re an avid angler, you can enjoy fishing at Lucksall Park. Wooden fishing pegs are located down the river with fish breeds including barbel, and chub amongst others. Simply set up your rod and relax as you look across the beautiful Herefordshire scenery. If you would like to fish when you stay, you can request a pitch by a peg, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. Please note you will need to apply for a rod licence through the Environment Agency and a fishing permit from Hereford Angling or from Reception (depending on where you would like to fish). Please note the coarse fishing season is from 16th June until 14th March.
Hereford Canoe Hire is located at Lucksall Park. We have an access point on site that goes down to the river for easy launch and landing. Any guests at Lucksall Holiday Park can launch and land on the bank for free and you are welcome to bring your own equipment with you or hire it from Hereford Canoe Hire. The company also runs several trips exclusive for guests of the Park – please visit: herefordcanoehire.com for more information.

If you want to explore the local area without getting in the car, this is the best way to do it! You can also enjoy walks through the woodland or jump in the car to enjoy the wide variety of nature walks that you’ll find in our neighbouring towns and villages.
